a very valuable recruit, between our lack of a Big — & bringing in a very athletic Gib to play alongside an athlete like Amari & a bunch of big guards like we got now — I could see how they might've hesitated on Hamlin where they normally wouldn't have. I think Rose & Matalao left on mutual terms w Whiting — & probably weren't encouraged off the team — so our roster might not have been all that flexible during Hamlin's recruitment.

Hamlin's an excellent skill player. I'd really like her in the mix (& have a hard time believing Amber would've been cautious in recruiting her — if there wasn't a good reason).
