Hiccupless 3rd String
From personal experience - no.
It’s actually decent if you live in Utah. Not amazing, but good. But when my church employment took me outside of Utah, the health insurance was way worse. Once I left Church employment my insurance got better.

More importantly, retirement matching is comparable in my new career. Salary increased dramatically. I started getting an annual bonus + equity awards for the first time ever. Church benefits are not “amazing”. We can do better for some of the most faithful among us, not to mention the difficulty of the job.

There’s a strong culture of gratitude and not to complain in CES. My candor here is taboo.
