something to the July 1 date, because the PAC 12 website no longer has the Four Corners schools listed as members, while the Big 12 website no longer has Texas and Oklahoma listed as members. So either the new teams are officially members of the Big 12 as of July 1, or they are free agents between July 1 and August 1. If I’m wrong and someone knows the details, please post them.
