1. The verification change sucks. While not perfect, the previous system was much better for signaling who was a journalist and was more likely to have sources. The new system obviously undid that to serve a completely new purpose that does nothing for me as a user. It also has created a new group of people that post for ad dollars. Content farming and posting the same videos over and over again is annoying.

2. The long tweets are annoying. The strict character limit was better. They cut off and make sending and reading previews more annoying.


So overall that has made reading for sports overall slightly worse. Not drastically, but slightly. I will say that there have been some positive changes. Community notes has been expanded and is a good feature. The for you page also used to be worthless (I literally only used the chronological feed) and is now somewhat entertaining.

The ads are also 8000000x worse and maybe the worst group of relevant ads I’ve ever seen on a platform, but I guess that’s my fault for not paying for premium.
