I've been up and down the east and west coast, all the Hawaiian islands, and
driven the entire Gulf Coast, stopping at over a dozen beaches along the way. So I feel qualified to comment on U.S. beaches.
Best sand/water: Rosemary beach, Florida
Best family destination: Outerbanks, North Carolina
Best scenery: Kalalau beach, Hawaii
