All three will result in the same performance by a robot, but to humans
time signatures suggest certain things about how to interpret the music, how it ought to be phrased, etc.
And if it were the case that time signature doesn’t matter at all regarding how the piece sounds when you play it and you really just care about how it looks on the page (you think 16th notes are hard to read or something), why not 12/4?
