If an app is available for download in the Apple app store (or Google Play, Roku, etc.), is that a solid indication that the service provided with the app is legitimate? I assume Apple (and the others) would vet things before allowing the app to be available in their store, right? Or is it easy for some person or company to get their app in those stores for download while providing some sort of fraudulent service through the app? I know that is sort of the same question a few different ways there, I just wanted to get my question across. Does anyone know?
