Here's the scenario: You're playing for the club championship, and after 17 holes you and your opponent are dead even. He tees off first and hits a wild shot into the woods. You tee off second and hit a beautiful drive right down the center of the fairway.
You follow your opponent into the woods to look for his ball, but after a frustrating 10 minutes of looking he tells you to go on ahead and hit. If he can't find his ball, he says, he'll go back and tee off again.
You leave him in the woods, go to your ball, and hit your second shot. It's a beauty--pin high, about six feet from the cup. After you hit, you hear your opponent yell, "found it!" and then he puts a spectacular second shot about six inches from the cup.
So the question is: Do you take the cheating SOB's ball out of your pocket and confront him with it?
