within 2-3 days I had a bunch of small dog turds in my yard. Their kids, who I assume had been tasked with handling the crap, were just tossing it over the fence into my yard.

I went out and gathered them up in a plastic grocery bag and walked over to the neighbors house. When the parent opened the door I handed them the bag and said "Hi I'm your next door neighbor. These came over the fence into my yard and I just wanted to return them."

Then walked away before they could argue or say anything.
