Safest bet.

I’ve personally ever been on royal and carnival. Carnival is super cheap compared to the other cruise lines. Some of their boats are descent but royal is much nicer. Expect to pay double for royal though.

Also the boat is very important to me in terms of entertainment, cleanliness, food options so before booking I’ll look at which boat it is and search YouTube for full tours of the boat and what it has to offer.

Lastly, cruises in the Caribbean have much better places to visit than the pacific Mexico side.
