A 30% drop is significant, even if it is peak to trough, which this is not.
Lumber prices have been even higher than the chart shows. It’s definitely making a difference in the construction bids I’m getting. To answer your question, it looks like prices are the lowest they’ve been since 2020. Wildfires could cause some upward pressure though.

very true, existing homeowners are not giving up those low mortgage rates. People will just renovate
