It has a temple……
The surrounding hills/mountains are scenic.
There are nice areas of the city to live in. It has a university, Idaho State, that is respected for its schools of nursing, pharmacy and engineering. If you’re a member of TCOJCOLDS ISU has a good institute program.
Negatives- It’s an old railroad town. Sometimes it shows in some areas. (Downtown) Lots of wind there and Winter isn’t pleasant.
Idaho State, like the U of U, also has an anti-COJCOLDS element.
