This came out three days ago. The Painter comment almost seems like a response to this. Where the Catchings group is saying Purdue wasn't the right fit for Kanon to develop for the NBA, Painter came out and said Kanon wanted to come back to Purdue right after he got released. The full article is on the Indy star and I don't have access.

Either way, super glad we have him.
