What do you do to help your kids build confidence in their abilities and take
calculated risks? I want to help empower my kids to assert themselves and to independently seek out opportunities around them. I think we've done a good job at helping our kids avoid too much screen time, but I want to also give them more opportunities to try new things, fail often, and learn to bounce back.

In short, what are some of the most helpful things for a kid to become resilient in a rapidly changing world that seems to be becoming even more competitive and expensive?

Also, as one who wasn't naturally inclined to do handyman/fixing stuff, what are some ways I can help my kids surpass me in those areas?
