for some inexplicable reason.
Our Harmony remotes are starting to wear out, so I tried the Sofabaton, which seemed like the most promising replacement. It's a relatively new brand. So far, it's okay. It's nowhere near as good as the Harmony.
My two biggest difficulties were adding new devices to the remote. It didn't have our TV available (and it's only a couple years old), but eventually I selected a similar model and that worked. My other gripe is about the macros (for turning on/off multiple devices at once and adjusting inputs). They just don't work well, in multiple ways. For now, we're just working around it, but they need a big upgrade.
One of the great features of the Harmony was an LCD screen with buttons, and that allowed for all the buttons (and labels for them) that wouldn't make sense to have on the remote's physical button layout. With the Sofabaton, there are extra buttons, but you have to remember what you're using that button for.
I'm not aware of any others that are that promising or really a suitable replacement of the Harmony.
