Was that actually a sticking point in the last round of basketball negotiations?

My understanding was that BYU offered a one-off game last year in SLC.

USU and BYU will not play each other in Men’s hoops this year.

USU asked for a three year agreement: neutral (Vivint) game then a home and home

BYU proposed one neutral game at Vivint.

Two sides couldn’t get over the impasse so no game this year - or in foreseeable future
