I don't understand the mechanics of it but I've seen it in my family. My daughter is red-headed and had a minor surgery this morning. She wakes up and gets coherent so much faster than my other kids. When she is in pain things like Tylenol and Ibuprofen doses have to be different.

Any sciency/biology-smart people here that can explain the why with medicines and red-heads processing differently?
