I coached Ryder in basketball when he was in the 6th grade and was one of my favorite players I've ever coached (even though he was only in the 6th grade at the time and was basketball instead of baseball). He was so coachable and listened very intently with everything I said and was a great team player as well as an overall player. So happy he is at BYU! He is a great competitor and and a fantastic player with a great attitude. Great pickup for BYU.
