One time my dad caught a fox in a leg trap, but it had clearly been mangled so the fur was useless as it was, so he decided to bring it home so that he could raise it with the grey foxes he kept in our back yard. I was just young so I watched as he had my mom hold its back legs while he released the paw in the hopes that he could take over soon after, but something happened and the fox got away from my dad, and in order to keep the fox from biting her my mom started turning quickly in a 360. Quicker and quicker as the panic escalated, and my dad started laughing, and it all gets a little blurry in my memory after that, but I seem to remember that she let go of the fox like she was an olympic athlete throwing the hammer. I was really young, and it has been 40 years, so I am not sure how accurate my recall of that event was, but I found myself today chuckling at the memory.
