Took my 30+ year-old Honda mower in today for a tune-up. Guy says "Is that all
it needs? No issues that you have noticed?" Nope, say I. He then commented "That's the problem with Honda mowers, we rarely get to do anything but basic service on them." I laughed and said someday it will die and I guess I will have to go battery-powered then. He replied, "Keep that thing running as long as you can. I was gifted an EGO mower and, although it does the job, it is very finicky and needs special care. I don't know if that is just my mower, the EGO brand in general or all battery-powered mowers, but I spend a lot of time babysitting that thing."

I have no idea about battery-powered mowers, but, yeah, I will keep the Honda well-serviced and hope it outlasts me. 🙂
