I subscribed to things like netflix and hulu even when I had cable (satellite)
My streaming package for live tv that replaced satellite (Youtube TV) is less than satellite was by about $40 per month. If you add up youtube TV plus netflix, hulu, disney+, ESPN+, etc, it is probably more than what satellite was. But that's not a fair comparison because even when we had DirectTV, we had additional costs for Netflix and Hulu
