Hungary once beat Germany 8-3 in the World Cup, in 1954. I wasn’t alive yet, but
it’s one of my favorite major tournament scorelines ever.
Of course, Germany won that World Cup anyway, by beating Hungary in a huge upset in the Final, 3-2.
