Everyone (me included) was distraught with Pope leaving... and enticing BYU players to join him, including CC (or just leaving). Then BYU got a glimmer of hope with the KY hire. Yeah, he was an unknown, but at least he had good NBA street cred. Then the hand wringing with the Saunders and Hall in the portal.... And KY is still coaching the Suns. Hope when S and H came back, but suddenly we find out that Waterman and Davis leaving, and Jaxon to UK. And the 'stress' of who's going to be the assistant coaches during this whole time.
It is amazing how things have changed so quickly. I'm not sure how BYU will do next year, but recruiting isn't an issue this year. It took only 60 days to get the highest recruiting class at BYU ever (i.e. this doesn't mean the best team ever or even the best players).
KY has done very well so far. Hope he wins a lot of games.
