I've read that KY learned a lot about forming a cohesive team with...
ever changing parts when he coached the 87ers in the G-League. He never had a consistent roster, and was continually faced with adding new players to the mix and learning to get along with key players that moved on.

I believe he's well-positioned to handle a roster like he and his staff have put together at BYU.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of "1-and-done" players. I don't believe it's good for the game long-term. But it's become a major factor in the success of the elite teams in college basketball, so I'm resigned to the fact that in order to compete consistently in the B12 and nationally, BYU is going to have to go after and get some of those players.

The fact that they've been able to successfully compete recruiting-wise is exciting. I can't wait to see what this team can do once the season starts.
