hydraulic strut stopped working and it had no rod to hold it up. was a real pain when checking oil or something. I don't do car repairs and I assumed it was a huge deal so I just lived with it for a couple years.

randomly found out it was a simple fix. bought a $20 part, had my son hold up the hood and it literally took me 2 minutes to replace.
