This is our regular season and it helps us determine inclusion and seeding for our post season tournament. But our post season tournament is what determines our champion. Even if two teams have played during the regular season, they can still play against each other in the post season tournament and as far as determining the champion, only the post season game matters. And, we as fans rarely if ever complain about that process—especially in the NFL Playoffs which would be our best comparison for college football.
