The old BYU model for success was "get old, stay old". Teams like that could often compete with younger, more talented teams, because of experience, chemistry, and better fundamentals. Meanwhile, several bluebloods have struggled in recent years because the "one and done" model can create its own problems.
This is a new era and a new challenge for BYU.
KY's challenge won't be super easy....
How quickly can he create team chemistry on and off the court?
Can he manage the locker room and the inevitable sour feelings when several players don't get the minutes they are expecting/demanding?
Great problems to have.
