There are some exceptions to this such as w/ Alabama and Brandon Miller in 2023. However, the vast majority of top teams in the nation have their most productive players as upperclassmen. Some of them do have one or two 1-and-done players on the team as well, but those players are usually the 3rd, 4th, or even 5th best player on the roster at best and are anchored by more productive upperclassmen.
