In general, the group that makes up the BoT have been on record in recent years
saying Church employees should not be taking a discount to work there. They have made a point of saying they believe in paying market rates.
This is now the market for college hoopsters. There should not be any philosophical reason not to pay market. Even less if fans are willing to pay it, rather than the Church. And they are.
