There were. More than a few. They just were drown out.
I'm very hopeful for KY finding his stride. He's still very much on new terrain, though (yet FAR more qualified than Detmer was a D1 coach).
So far, KY seems to be very ambitious in his talent standards for BYU, too. Which is something Detmer very much was NOT.
