From his data, Evan shows that successful teams (All teams that finished in the top 10 at the end of the season from the past three years) had this breakdown of minutes when comparing returning players, transfers, and freshman:
Returning players: 60.1%
Transfers: 22.7%
Freshman: 17.2%

This is why I believe BYU will prioritize giving Knell, Saunders and Baker minutes over Crawford and Kozlowski.
