I thought the 16-team Euros were awesome, with very few boring or uncompetitive
games. Since they expanded to 24, the number and percentage of boring games and blowouts has increased significantly.
16 is the sweet spot for Europe, IMO.

I’d rather see them go back to 4 groups of 4. 16 teams is plenty for Europe.

The knockout games are the real entertainers. I think having an extra round there is good.

I’m not sure if I like it or not. I don’t think Europe can go down to 16 teams

But now teams are being rewarded for poor group performance. In the last two tourney, three teams made it to knockouts
