It’s been a big barrier to me expanding what I can play.

I’ve never expected to be a great guitar player, but it’s frustrating that even a beginner level guitar player really needs to find a way to play bar chords to play a lot of otherwise simple songs.

If I felt like I occasionally “got it” I’d probably give it more effort, but I’ll press down with all my might and still get muted strings.
