He's made several public statements now that he's 100%. Chances of an injury for him is no greater than for any player.
He's BYU's top returning player and IMO, it's not close.

I almost never believe in historical comparisons, but in this case Baker is Eli Bryant all over again, as in CB defined Bryant as useless or worse during his injured year, despite attestations from those of us who saw him constantly pre injury and declared him the team's best player during his redshirt year at BYU. His first season on the floor at BYU was poor and the mock birds were all over it. Of course they quickly buried themselves under a rock the next season when Eli proved to be a BYU all time great before skipping his final year to go pro.

What makes Baker different is what has happened to the team in the last 2 months.

The arrival of freshmen phenoms will call upon Baker to serve differently than Eli's superstar role. Baker is fully capable to be Eli in every way but expect him to take a step back in scoring compared to what might have been, and serve as a void filler.

Baker is back and he's really good. Plan on it.
