I'm talking about everyone on campus at BYU being able to quote a goofy little movie shot for peanuts in Idaho.

An indie movie that broke out into the general culture and held its place there for weeks.

It's nice that there's more stuff now, and that you can find stuff that's more "you," but more unified cultural moments had their upside.
