Some of that is because they, like a lot of "insiders", rarely make committal statements that could be verifiably wrong (eg, eyeball emojis).

But let's see, CC arguably could have been wrong on Pop Isaacs. But they leaked Crawford before he was official and that turned out right. They also leaked that BYU had interest in Hugo Gonzalez, which a lot of people were clowning CC for at the time but that turned out to be right too. They were also one of the first to talk about Demin IIRC.

I don't know, I think their batting average is reasonable, all things considered.
