Pope did a good job but...
Khalifa was much better than anyone thought he would be, Hall made a big leap as did Jaxson.
Most of all, the surprise was mostly a product of doing okay in the nations toughest conference. The Big 12 ended up not being that great in the end. The team was still better than expected but march madness proved BYU and the entire conference wasn't anywhere close to as good as anyone thought.
