The kids and the youth have no clue .....
Why do people that feel they must prepare the perfect plate even if that takes 10 minutes feel they need to be at the front of the line?
In their defense, our youth actually kind of get it. We had a huge activity with over 100 kids. Told them... " Come get two or three things quickly and keep moving, then go to back of the line and come through and get two or three more. You can loop as many times as you want". They did it, it went smooth
Yeah I'm a grumpy old man ... Get off my lawn!!
But really.... Do people just not get it that there is a long long line behind them?
Can I announce next time...
"We have 6 lines, if someone is slow I front of you, go right ahead and jump around them and keep the line going"
The "take three things" worked great with the youth. A Primary president in a previous ward did that for a primary activity to teach kids proper etiquette. That was great. Can we teach adults?
Are there other tricks people do at linger longer kinds of things to help keep the line moving?
