on team friendly contracts that are mostly hitting well below their average and well below their potential. Pitching is fine for the most part. We do not have a valid 5 slot yet (and uncle Charlie is finally starting to show his age unfortunately) and I wish as much as anybody else that we would go get Bauer but for whatever reason I think MLB is pulling some strings behind the scenes honestly. Throwing these rookies out is conceding games and saving our big arms for later. Not a great look and disappointing for sure. We should be winning any game we hold the other team to 5 or less and should have a really good chance to win if can hold them to under 8 or so. Offense is slumping. Not just one or two key guys but top to bottom outside of the big bear. Frustrating for sure but firing the best(arguably)GM in the league is for sure not the answer.
