I attended it both years - summer before my 8th grade year and again before my 9th grade year. I came from Colorado and I had a good time both years. But I also remember many of the campers had already established teammates and friends. I felt like an outsider a lot of the times.

Ainge was my favorite BYU player growing up and I always tried to model my game after his. I remember it was an awesome week long camp at the HS.

I also remember Frank Arnold being involved at the camp quite a bit, interacting with us campers. They had several HS coaches there from the area helping out. I thought they were all pretty cool coaches. I remember him having some great teams/players at BYU.

Getting my picture with Danny and Frank was awesome. I still have the pictures and my camp t-shirts.

I remember playing in the camp All-Star game both years. I remember interacting and playing with Gib (Franks son) - as we were the same age. He seemed pretty cool. I also remember watching the dunk contest and seeing David Reeves throw down some nice reverse dunks (but I think they lowered the hoop for some players). I can remember some faces of other players, but can’t remember any names.
