Kalani finally realized that he had to do a VERY hard thing for him to do. Firing your "brother" is not an easy thing to do. He did it slowly, but he did it. Also, firing Funk so quickly is hard to do. If we are honest, firing a key position in just 2 years is probably quicker than most would. But that 3rd year was a doosey. It was definitely time and probably (in hindsight) a year too slow.
I'm okay, not happy, but okay with where we are this year. We may not see a lot of improvement yet, but I think we will see growth. IMO, Kalani is a great guy and is grown a ton the past 2 years as a head coach.
I am cautiously optimistic.
