whacker after mowing. I haven't used it in a while and I wanted to trim up all the overgrown edges around my lawn.

While weed-whacking under my deck, I got too close to some deer netting I have around my sandbox so I can keep the sand clean by keeping cats out of it. Anyway, it caught on the string and ripped a hole in the deer netting. I got it untangled and got started again. For some inexplicable reason, not 20 seconds later, I got too close to the deer netting AGAIN and it ripped another hole and bound up in the motor so badly that I couldn't get it out of the weed whacker by hand.

Cue an extra hour and fifteen minutes of work to disassemble the weed trimmer, clean out the ripped up deer netting, reassemble it, and remove and replace a section of the deer netting.

Nothing like turning a 15 minute job into a 90 minute job through sheer stupidity! 🙂
