Maybe not the players that are definite 1st round picks, but the guys that are on the fringe—with NIL being a thing now, they can make a ton of money with an NIL deal, and it’s guaranteed, unlike an NBA second round pick, where a roster spot ISN’T guaranteed.

And yeah, you’re right, essentially everyone is a free agent every year, so the amount of change is going to be crazy. I hope they fix this, with maybe making multiple-year contracts eventually, and maybe the only way they get out of a contract, is if they get drafted.
