Not re-creating last season - we'll have to see
I think we need to be open to the fact that Coach Kevin Young isn't on a mission to re-create last season. He liked the BYU outcome last season and has commented on it. But, he has his own offensive philosophy and it will and will not have its similarities to last season.

The idea that we need a bunch of front-court guys who can shoot from 3-point range is not a bad one - but it also looks back to last season. Aly Khalifa and Noah Waterman were those "front-court guys" who could shoot from three-point range. They're not coming back.

I didn't even mention Egor Demin - he is 6'9" and is a good shooter from range - but not classified as a "front-court player." It doesn't matter that much in positionless basketball.

Mawot Mag is long at 6'8" and would be classified as front-court player. He can shoot from three. Is he a good shooter? Depends a bit on the season you look at, but Coach Young will also likely design his shooting options to optimize his efficiency.

Townsend Tripple is a front-court player. He's also a pretty good three-point shooter, but doesn't play much at this point.

Yes, it would be nice to have more of the types you indicate, but with Demin, Mag, and Keita, we have guys that can do things in the offense that we didn't have last season. So, it'll be different.
