I thought he looked fine in the WV game. To me, he was the only one that showed up to play that game.
Then it was off the cliff bad. Starting with the first throw against ISU. Missed an easy throw to wide open Rex and instead threw an INT.
Then I swear it seemed like he fumbled every 5th snap or something.
His bad turnovers lost both the Oklahoma games. I don’t know how any of you have any confidence in him being “the guy”.
Sure, maybe it was the perfect storm of
- starting in the string of games where the team quits on KS
- having a terrible oline (except they did decent running the ball against the OK teams)
- first starts in D1 ball and nerves.
- first time in Arods system (how hard is it to learn to throw to the flat behind the line of scrimmage for a loss? While also ignoring the middle of the field on any other throw?)
But to me, I’d rather see if Bohannon can recapture his magic with Baylor.
