calling for Doc, but then he sez "I'll be right back" and skates off the stage. Then the curtain dropped and a moment later the house lights came on and the monitors showed a message saying the show would resume shortly.

About 10 minutes later the show resumed with him skating back out on stage calling for Doc, and then the Delorean comes sliding onto the stage with tons of effects. Apparently they had some technical issues the first time around.
