Well, maybe it's a good idea to go through your 72 hour kits or emergency supply every once in a while...
I'm getting ready for high adventure, and grabbed one of our water purifier options. I've never used it, and it's been in storage for 20+ years.
Good thing I noticed the expiration date on the batteries...
