He was overpowering. Except when he wasn't. With the exception of Luc Longley, his length was a real issue, but
Shawn also benefitted largely from being part of a deep & talented team. They would've been very good even without him. Had they not been so good, though — his points wouldn't have come nearly as easily as they did. As a Frosh, he was not a guy who could score unless he had great position — & he was not a guy who could get that position regularly if his teammates weren't pressuring the D themselves. Shawn was actually pretty containable by himself as a Freshman.
