It’s very scenic but a very mellow kayak trip. You put in at Centennial Park
and then paddle upstream underneath the Perrine Bridge. If lucky, you’ll be able to see base jumpers at the bridge. Take out at Pillar Falls , portage a bit and then continue upriver to the falls. Like I said, mellow but scenic. It’s a days worth, 5 hours minimum round trip. Plus the water flows need to be down otherwise portaging at Pillar is not advisable. Other mellow kayaking in Hagerman. Put in at Banbury hot springs and then paddle to blue heart springs. Pretty but it’s become a bit overcrowded. It’s kind of a zoo at blue heart.
