I have a brisket smoking right now, as I work in the garden. It smells good too.
I smoked a brisket for Memorial Day, which I started late Sunday night. My BIL brought over a brisket he had as an attempt to add to the fare, but he brought it same day, and it was still partially frozen.

So, I just let it finish thawing in the fridge, and I'm smoking it today.
